The CCAS, our main donor for our actions in Nepal, organizes a journey which will allow the employees of the electricity and gas industries to discover the work which have been done with Friends of Nature: sponsoring, schools of Chyaksa danda and Tashigaon, kiwis crop.
10 volunteers joined and a briefing of the travelers was made in the CCAS offices yesterday. It is a first experience for the CCAS in Nepal but also for Friends of Nature and Araucaria. We hope to emulate and do it again!
They leave on November 18th for Nepal and will pass 9 days in Makalu. They will take advantage of their stay to visit the high places of the valley of Kathmandu: Patan, Durbar, Pashupatinath, Buddhanath, Bhaktapur, …
They will appreciate our projects and programs through meetings with the local authorities, the committees of schools, health center, schools and families.
They will participate by helping to put the first electric fence of the region, around the field of kiwis, regularly ravaged by wild animals.
They will share moments of life with the communities which form the diversity and the cultural wealth of this beautiful valley.
